City of Santa Ana <br />Environmental Checklist <br />56, which provide bus service to the cities of Santa Ana, Orange, Garden Grove, and Anaheim. The <br />proximity of the project site to five bits stops within 0.25 mile would allow students, residents, and <br />employees convenient access to alternative transportation. The OCTA also offers the OCTA ACCESS <br />program and other training programs to assist eligible transit users in learning how to navigate the <br />standard transit system. The project would not alter or conflict with existing bus stops and <br />schedules, and impacts related to OCTA transit services would not occur, <br />There are no identified bicycle routes along North Fairview Street in the project vicinity, however, <br />sidewalks exist along both sides of the street. The nearest bicycle facilities are Class I bike paths <br />along 17th Street (three blocks south of the project site) and along the Santa Ana River trail <br />(approximately 500 feet east of the project site). The project will include onsite bicycle facilities <br />pursuant to the City's Bicycle Support Facilities Guidelines, and would not involve any offsite <br />improvements or result in any identified offsite impacts to bicycle or pedestrian routes. Therefore, <br />no conflicts will occur to any bicycle facilities. Lastly, existing sidewalks would be maintained along <br />North Fairview Street upon implementation of the proposed project.
