City of Santa Ana Environmental Checklist <br />Discussion <br />Would the project: <br />a. Exceed wastewater treatment requirements of the applicable Regional Water Quality Control <br />Board? <br />Less- than - Significant Impact. Wastewater generated from the project site would be transported <br />from the project site via an existing 12 -inch city sewer line in North Fairview Street that flows <br />southerly to the intersection of Westminster Avenue and 17th Street. The sewer line turns westerly <br />on Westminster. The wastewater is transported and treated at the Orange County Sanitation <br />District's (OCSD) Reclamation Plant No. 1, in the City of Fountain Valley. This wastewater treatment <br />facility is currently undergoing an expansion project, which will increase secondary treatment to a <br />total design capacity of 180 million gallons per day (mgd) (OCSD 2012).
