Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2012 -17 as conditioned. 3. Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2012 -06 (a) as conditioned to allow a reduction in required parking for the high school. 4. Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2012 -06 (b) as conditioned to exceed the allowable building height. 5. Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2012 -06 (c) as conditioned to exceed the allowable fence height. DISCUSSION Request of the Applicant Chris Simonsen, representing Orangewood Children's Foundation, is requesting approval of a conditional use permit and variance to allow the construction of The Academy Charter High School at 1901 North Fairview Street. Specifically, the applicant is requesting approval per Santa Ana Municipal Code (SAMC) Section 41- 313.5(c), which requires a conditional use permit for a school use in the Professional (P) zoning district, a variance from Section 41 -1401 of the SAMC to allow a reduction in required parking for a high school, a variance from Section 41 -314 of the SAMC to exceed the maximum building height of 35 feet, and a variance from Section 41 -322 to allow a wall to exceed the maximum allowable height.
