WIA 2012 -2013 Grant <br />OCCTAC -- Budget Narrative <br />Math Coach /Instructor PTE for 10 months: $8,100 (Benefits Included) <br />10 -hours a week for 10 months @ $18.00 per hour <br />The respective position will be responsible for assessing the numeric and basic skills of <br />all participants; teaching WIA participant's learning and mathematical solving <br />strategies; monitor & document providing educational and career training to all <br />participants as it assisting participants with related work experience placement; <br />observing and monitoring participants with technical skills; documenting progress <br />throughout the program; meeting regularly & individually with WIA participants to <br />train on related curriculum; and attending regular team meetings. <br />Career Counselor PTE for 10 months: $12,150 (Benefits Included) <br />15 -hours a week @ $18.00 per hour <br />The respective position will be responsible for providing educational and career training <br />to all WIA participants; mentoring and assisting participants with related work <br />experience placement; observing and monitoring participants with technical /artistic <br />skills; documenting progress throughout the program; meeting regularly & individually <br />with WIA participants to train on related curriculum; and attending regular team <br />meetings. <br />Participants WaLyes $63,000.00 <br />Training Stipend. (Out -of- school youth) 25 participants <br />First 20 hours: participants given $150.00 stipend to participate in program. <br />Second 20 hours: participants given $150.00 stipend to participate in program. <br />After Stipends completion, Months 3 -9: participants paid $8.00 per hr for on-the-job <br />training (10 hrs a wk). <br />Supportive Services $ 9,275.00 <br />Bus Passes /Gas Voucher: As needed for 25 participants $5,350.00 <br />Funds are allocated for youth who are in need of transportation related support. <br />Fingerprinting /TB Test: As needed for 25 participants $1,300.00 <br />Funds allocated for Dept. of Justice Clearance & TB Test for employment. <br />Work Related Supplies: As needed for 25 participants $1,313.00 <br />Work related and skill building tools, books, academic supplies, portfolios, items <br />needed for job interviews. <br />Academic Support. As needed for 25 —participants $1,312.00 <br />Tuition Support for Certificate or other related academic programs; books for related <br />course work; tutoring supplies <br />Exhibit G <br />
