Portions of the adjacent
curb and gutter, driveway approaches, curb ramps, and sidewalks are in disrepair and require
replacement. Improvements include rehabilitation of the pavement, and replacement of damaged
concrete curb and gutter, driveway approaches, and sidewalk. Once completed, these
improvements will extend the life of the pavement and enhance the ride quality, surface drainage,
and appearance of the streets. Additionally, the intersection of Main and First Streets is being
enhanced on the southwest corner by the addition of an ADA-compliant curb ramp.
The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on September 7 & 8, 2012, and bids were opened on
September 26, 2012.
