<br />OVERALL 0 PERATIONAL SYSTEM <br /> <br />The following pages provide a review of Care's overall operational system, including a summary of our operations <br />system and supervisory plans. In addition, we have outlined our proposed operational system enhancements. <br /> <br />Supervisory Plan <br />CUlTently, Care Ambulance Service provides an on-duty Operations Manager on a twenty-four (24) hour <br />basis, seven (7) days a week In addition, Care Ambulance has a dedicated full-time Administrative Manager <br />specifically assigned to the City of Santa Ana, Monday through Friday, from 0800 to I 600 hours. <br /> <br />Care's Operations Managers function in a manner similar to a fire department Battalion Chief and are only <br />assigned to field supervision and administrative duties. Our Operations Managers are located at our corporate <br />offices in Orange. The on-duty Operations Manager is available at all times and may be contacted immediately <br />via radio through Care's communications center or directly through their cellular telephone. <br /> <br />The following individuals cUlTently work as Operations and Administrative Managers in Care's Orange County <br />Division: <br /> <br />Rob Viera - OC Division Manager, Employed with Care for 15 years <br />Jeffry Talmage - SA Admin. Manager, Employed with Care for 3 months. <br />Rick Mount - OC Operations Manager, Employed with Care for 31 years. <br />Marc Jessner - OC Operations Manager, Employed with Care for 21 years. <br />Jeremy Seib - OC Operations Manager, Employed with Care for 9 years. <br />Sean Cox - OC Operations Manager, Employed with Care for 6 years. <br /> <br />All Operations Managers employed by Care Ambulance have successfully completed training at the ICS 300 <br />level and Ambulance Strike Team Leader training. All have completed the Ambulance Service Manager (ASM) <br />training offered by the American Ambulance Association and most recently, all have completed the Ambulance <br />Supervisors Course offered by Texas A&M University. All Operations Managers have completed the required <br />FEMA training, including IS 700 NIMS, IS 703 NIMS Resource Management and IS 800 National Response Plan. <br />In addition, all Operations Managers have completed the Orange County EMS Agency courses in Bio-TelTorism <br />(CBRNE), First Responder Awareness (FAA) and First Responder Operations (FRO). <br /> <br />On a daily basis, Care's Operations Managers are in the field, supervising the activities of all assigned personnel. <br />They are deployed in a Code 3 capable vehicle equipped with all necessary fire department radios and extra <br />medical equipment, including back-boards, medical supplies and oxygen. Each Operations Manager vehicle is <br />also equipped with a Mobile Data Computer (MDC) allowing our supervisory personnel to continually monitor <br />the location and activities of all Care ambulances within Orange County. <br /> <br />8 <br />
