productions <br />Character Appearance Rider <br />Rider to Contract dated October 23. 2012 between The City of Santa Ana ("Purchaser") and <br />Milestone Productions, LLC ("Producer"), a LICENSEE of Ian Falconer (managed by Classic Media) <br />("Owner") in connection with the Live Appearance of Olivia the Piglet ("Character"). <br />The following provisions shall be deemed incorporated in and part of the agreement to which this rider is <br />attached. Purchaser must provide all provisions at its sole cost and expense. All items listed below are an <br />integral part of the success of the appearance. Producer reserves the right to decline performing if <br />these basic conditions are not adequately provided. <br />If any conditions outlined in this rider cannot be met, please contact Milestone Productions so that appropriate <br />accommodations can be made. <br />I. APPEARANCE AREA: The performance area requires a minimum level space of 10' wide byl0' <br />deep. Please note that this is appearance space ONLY! Additional area must be provided to <br />accommodate audience. <br />a. APPEARANCE AREA COVERING: In the event of inclement weather during an outdoor <br />appearance: Purchaser agrees to supply at Purchaser's sole cost and expense a safe and sturdy <br />overhead covering. Said covering should supply adequate protection from any weather <br />conditions (rain, sun, etc.) that may be harmful to talent or damaging to costumes. <br />b. CROWD CONTROL: Purchaser is responsible to provide Staff & Security for crowd control for <br />the safety of performers and audience. We suggest a waiting line be established with <br />stanchions. <br />2. SOUND: If applicable, sound system will be provided by the PURCHASER, at PURCHASER'S sole <br />cost and expense. The system must include one (1) CD player, an amplifier and speakers and <br />wireless microphone. The PURCHASER also agrees to provide a Sound Engineer to operate the <br />equipment during the appearance. <br />3. DIRECTIONS & PARKING: <br />a. DIRECTIONS: Clear and concise directions must be provided to the site of the appearance, <br />including instructions for parking and specific location of on-site meeting location. <br />b. PARKING: Reserved parking must be as close to the appearance site as possible. Parking fees <br />incurred by the Producer's staff are the sole responsibility and expense of the Purchaser. <br />4.
