The parking Iot patrol assists in providing customers with a safe shopping <br />experience through the detection and deterrence of criminal activity. This consists of <br />two primary functions: {2) Visibility which enables the parking lot patrol officer <br />{°Officer"} to deter theft; and (z) Communication which enables the Officer to assisE <br />the store's Asset Protection personnel and serve as a liaison for law enforcement. The <br />Officer regularly patrols the entire site in varying routes in a marked security patrol <br />vehicle equipped with rooftop flashing lights. <br />Officers are trained to observe and repoxt al! suspicious incidents and call law <br />enforcement immediately if it appears a pexsori is in danger. O#ficers maintain lag <br />books with respect to their daily activities. Tn addition, the Officers Iook for potential <br />property damage or safety hazards in the parking lot and report them to management <br />fox repair. Officers report any suspicious activity ox emergency situations to facility <br />management and/or law enforcement. if children or juveniles are observed running, <br />climbing, skate-boarding, xoller-blading or playing in the parking lots, Officers notify <br />facility management immediately. The Officer has radio communication with facility <br />management and asset protection associates/coordinators so that they may collectively <br />deliver a coordinated, swift, and safe response to incidents. <br />A~cohoi Sales Training and Compliance: <br />Waimart has a rigaraus policy and training that addresses the safe and responsible <br />sale of alcohol at its stores. The policy emphasizes not only the responsible marketing <br />and sale of alcohol beverage pxoducts but also Walmaxt's commitment to the health <br />and welfare of our Nation's youth.
