<br />Ms. Parker has fifteen years of experience in the installation, operation, and management of
<br />technical systems and projects. She specializes in all phases of electronic communications and
<br />video systems. She is well known within Caltrans for the quality of her workmanship. Ms. Parker
<br />regularly teaches maintenance and operation courses to Caltrans maintenance personnel and
<br />design engineers.
<br />Automated Traffic Surveillance and Control (ATSAC) Projects, Los Angeles, CA - Ms.
<br />Parker has been a Communication Systems Project Manager on eight completed ATSAC projects
<br />for the City of Los Angeles over the past 15 years, including Victory West ATSAC, Ventura 2B
<br />ATSAC, Mar Vista ATSAC, Ronald Reagan Corridor ATSAC, Sepulveda Pass ATSAC, Culver City
<br />ATSAC, and the Route 405 Corridor ATSAC. These projects involved the upgrade of a total of 1800
<br />intersections, including the installation of more than 100 miles of fiber optic and copper cable, 300
<br />Cameras, a complete Sonet network, data multiplexers, CCTV Control System, video switch
<br />matrices, voice and data transmission equipment, spread spectrum radio, microwave, atmospheric
<br />lasers, vehicle detection systems, changeable message signs, and equipment at the ATSAC
<br />Control Center.
<br />Caltrans CCTV and Fiber Optic Systems, Los Angeles and Orange Counties, CA - Ms.
<br />Parker has been a System Project Manager on sixteen completed Caltrans CCTV and Fiber Optic
<br />System contracts, including eleven on Highway 5, 10, 105,405 and 605 in Los Angeles covering
<br />over 100 miles of freeway, an Earthquake Relief project utilizing satellite communications to 32
<br />different traffic elements throughout Los Angeles County, and five different projects in District 12 on
<br />Highways 5, 405 and 55. These projects included the installation of fiber optic and copper cable,
<br />cameras, CCTV Control Systems, video switch matrices, voice and data transmission systems,
<br />Sonet network, channel banks, vehicle detection systems, Satellite systems Changeable Message
<br />Signs, Highway Advisory Radio, and equipment at the Districts 7, 8 and 12 Transportation
<br />Management Centers.
