Award a construction contract to the lowest bidder, All American Asphalt, Inc., for the Bristol <br /> Street widening from 2nd to 10th Streets, and for the water and sewer system improvements <br /> from 3rd to 10th Streets, in accordance with their bid in the amount of $6,169,256. <br /> <br /> 2. Approve the Cost Analysis, as shown in Exhibit 1, for a total estimated project delivery cost of <br /> $7,711,582. <br /> <br /> 3. Approve an appropriation adjustment accepting Orange County Transportation Authority <br /> Comprehensive Transportation Funding Programs Measure M2 Arterial Capacity <br /> Enhancements allocation in the amount of $3,120,000 into the Measure M Street Construction <br /> revenue account (03217002-52332) and appropriating the same to the Measure M2 Street <br /> Construction expenditure account (03217662-66220). Also, accepting Orange County <br /> Transportation Authority Prop 1 B Bond funding in the amount of $3,120,000 into the Prop 1 B <br /> Bond revenue account (03017002-52363) and appropriating the same to the Prop 1B Bond <br /> expenditure account (03017660-66220), for the Bristol Street Widening Project (No. 08-1700). <br /> <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> <br /> Bristol Street is a regionally significant north-south corridor which is designated as a major arterial <br /> highway in the City's General Plan Circulation Element. Bristol Street between Warner Avenue <br /> and Memory Lane is a long-term widening project scheduled to be completed in several phases as <br /> funding becomes available. Two phases have already been completed, and it is anticipated that <br /> two more phases, including this one, will be needed to complete the widening. This phase will <br /> widen Bristol Street between 2nd and 10th Streets, as shown in Exhibit 2. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 20E-1 <br />
