We understand that this amount has been <br />established through negotiations with the City of Santa Ana. The table will be the <br />determining factor on the resources we have available to address the tasks remaining <br />and to be requested by the city. <br />Within the table, the last three columns are most relevant to this amendment. We have <br />highlighted how the budget augment of $22,500 is distributed amongst the tasks, what <br />we have already expended as a result of prior requests by the city. And finally, the <br />amount of budget that remains in each of the tasks that is yet to be completed. <br />For reference only, we have retained the discussion previously provided to you and the <br />city in our amendment #2 request letter dated December 10, 2012. It provides a <br />narrative of the work completed to date, out of scope work, and an estimate of effort <br />needed to respond to the city's comments at the time. It is noted that the estimated <br />levels of effort has been superceded by the table attached. <br />EXERCEPTS FROM IBI LETER DATED 12-10-12 <br />IBI Group is pleased to be a part of your team on the Warner Avenue Widening Preliminary <br />Engineering (PE)/Environmental Document (ED) Project. This letter provides a summary of <br />additional work scope and anticipated task hours needed to complete the Warner Avenue <br />preliminary engineering based on comments received to date. There were a number of <br />significant events including the project being put on hold for almost two years and a number of <br />staff changes, both with the city and team, during the evolution of the project that have led us to <br />this point. <br />What we have provided identifies work that we have been scoped to complete, including the <br />amendment we received on February 10, 2012, out of scope work that we were asked to <br />complete by the city, and an estimate of the effort needed to respond to the city's current <br />comments.
