181 Group <br />comments. We have shown the amount of effort we have expended to address out of scope <br />work and estimated the effort necessary to respond to work yet to be completed. A key aspect <br />that is worth highlighting is our original scope of work did not include public involvement and the <br />required effort to support it. We believe that this is a significant departure from what was scoped <br />back in 2009 that has never been addressed. <br />ENGINEERING <br />Task A.1: Project Management/Quality Control Plan/Administration <br />Work Completed To-date Within Scope: <br />• Project management and administration for the completion of three Build Alternatives <br />and supporting technical documents leading to April 2010. <br />• Amendment #1, support for the development of one new alternative based on <br />discussion with Jason Gabriel, September 14, 2011. <br />• Amendment #1, project management and administration for the refinement of the <br />Preferred Build Alternative beyond the 2010 work. <br />Work Completed Out of Scope: <br />• Additional project management and administration needed to develop a total of six Build <br />Alternatives <br />• Based on unbilled work: <br />o Staff hours: 4 <br />o Fee: $388 <br />Remaining Work to be Completed Within Scope: <br />• Work on original scope and Amendment #1 has been completed however, ongoing <br />comments and city refinements continue beyond the anticipated task hours for this task. <br />Cost to be Complete: <br />• Additional project management and administration time needed to respond to ongoing <br />comments and city refinements. <br />• Based on comments received to date: <br />o Assumed staff hours: 16 <br />o Assumed budget: $2,944 <br />Task A.2: Meetings and Coordination <br />Work Completed To-date Within Scope: <br />• Project meetings for the completion of three Build Alternatives and supporting technical <br />documents leading to April 2010. <br />• Amendment #1, support for the development of one new alternative based on <br />discussion with city, September 14, 2011. <br />• Amendment #1, project meetings for the refinement of the Preferred Build Alternative <br />beyond the 2010 work. <br />Work Completed Out of Scope: <br />• Additional meetings and conference calls requested by the city over and above the <br />hours identified in the original scope of 104 hours and budget and the 4 hours identified <br />in Amendment #1. <br />• Based on unbilled work: <br />o Staff hours: 16 <br />o Fee: $1,554 <br />Remaining Work to be Completed Within Scope: <br />• Work on original scope and Amendment #1 has been completed however, ongoing <br />25B-40
