COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. C-2-2030 <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />Task 10: Traffic Signal Modeling Software Support <br />CONSULTANT, in addition to specific needs of AGENCIES as listed in the Attachments <br />to this Scope of Work, shall supply to OCTA or specified AGENCY, any upgrade or new <br />licenses for the following software and manuals: <br />Name <br />Product Name <br />Quantity <br />Upgrade <br />New <br />—Agency <br />Westminster <br />S nchro 8.0 <br />1 <br />X <br />1. Consultant shall provide a four day training session consisting of four (4) modules. <br />The modules will be on the functions and features of the following programs: <br />Module 1 — Highway Capacity Manual 2010 (HCM 2010) and its relationships to the <br />vendor software supplied on this project and other related items. <br />a. Shall be the first module in the training session. <br />b. Oriented to transportation planning/operations and the interaction of <br />Synchro/Sim Traffic 8.0 <br />c. Four (4) hours in length <br />2. Module 2 — Synchro/Sim Traffic 8.0 <br />a. Module 2.1 — 3D Viewer 8 set up and operation (optional) <br />3. Module 3 — Tru Traffic 9.0 <br />4. Module 4 — Interaction between the programs and usage <br />The course content and times shall be coordinated with the APM and the Consultant. <br />The classes will be scheduled to take place in the OCTA IS Training Room. <br />The programs shall be taught over a 4 day period. The HCM session or module shall <br />be taught to OCTA personnel and Consultant invited personnel only. The HCM session <br />shall be taught the first 4 hours of the instructional period, followed by Synchro/Sim <br />Traffic and Tru Traffic. <br />As part of the Tru Traffic Training, the Consultant shall provide a 'hands — on' exposure <br />to floating car studies in real time in a suitably equipped vehicle with laptop/gps on Main <br />Street in front of OCTA Headquarters. The length of the segment shall be from <br />Chapman Avenue to the CHOC Hospital Intersection near the SR — 22 Freeway. OCTA <br />shall provide the Synchro Network and Tru Traffic Network for that use. <br />The APM shall solely make the determination of the scheduling, content, and who will <br />instruct the training. The Consultant may perform the 'hands — on' exposure to floating <br />car studies requirement after the initial 4 day training session if deemed appropriate by <br />the APM and the AGENCIES. <br />Consultant shall be responsible for all expenses related to training, including travel, <br />lodging and per diem plus actual training course fees, licenses, and document <br />production required from the program vendor.
