<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Housing Element Progress Report <br /> April 1, 2013 <br /> Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> Housing Element Annual Progress Reports are due to the State Housing and Community <br /> Development (HCD) and the State Office of Planning and Research in April of each year, if a <br /> charter city's housing element identifies the Acquisition and Rehabilitation of existing housing to <br /> meet Regional Housing Need Allocation (RHNA) for the construction of new housing. In addition, <br /> the Progress Report is required to be eligible for certain State funding programs such as the <br /> Housing Related Parks Program (HRP). Per Government Code 65400, the report is to be <br /> considered at a public meeting before the legislative body where members of the public may <br /> provide testimony and written comments. <br /> <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> y .
