SECTION?, STAFFINO POLICIES I Pagel <br />7. STAFFING POLICIES <br />Provide responses to the following questions: <br />a. Will you recruit personnel for this contract differently from other standard parking contracts? If so, how and why? What <br />specific recruitment methods will be used? <br />Central will be consistent in its staffing policies and will not apply differently than with other clients. <br />b. With other parking companies advertising for employment opportunities, what will you do to meet the City's needs? <br />Central has dedicated human resource professionals to meet the needs of the City. This team identif es the need at the <br />point of the project transition and actively recruits via colleges, job fairs and on-line job boards to acquire the best <br />candidates. Additionally, Central invest time in a high school preparedness program and as a result of the relationship <br />Central often hes access to some of the top high school graduates. <br />c. List the wage rates and billing rates by type of position for each of the type of services to be provided. Response must <br />include the follcwing: <br />+. Suggested beginning hourly wage for each position. <br />WAGE RATES - CASHIERS, ArrFNDANTS AND MAIN-TENANCE <br />Starting Wage . $9.00 <br />The above wage rate are mandated by the collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local 911. Wage rates for <br />current union members working at the City of Santa Ana Parking Facilities range from $9.00 - $12.05. Non union salaried <br />personnel wages have been included in the pro forma submitted herein and will need City of Santa Ana approval. <br />ii. A detailed description of all fringe benefits offered to employees. <br />EMPLOVEE BENEFIT'S SUh9MARV <br />NON UNION SALARIED PERSONNEL <br />Offering a Competitive Package <br />Central Parking System provides an extensive benefits package to eligible employees and includes the following: <br />• Medical and Dental Insurance <br />• Retirement/ 401(k) Benefits <br />• Paid vacation and sick leave <br />• Paid Holidays including one paid personal day <br />• Payroll Processing/ New Hire Processing <br />• Competitive wages and salaries <br />A summary of Central Parking Employee Benefits Plan is outlined in the chart on the next page. <br />UNION MEMBERS <br />A detailed description of all fringe benefits offered to union rnembers are outlined in the enclosed charge on page 3. <br />hi. A detailed description of any employee incentive programs offered by the company that rewards/encourages employee <br />safety, productivity, excellent customer service. <br />Central would introduce an Employee of the Month program that would recognize an employee for excellence in safety, <br />customer service and attendance. Additionally, employees are acknowledged for outstanding results when "Secret <br />Shoppers" have identified such through spot audits. Central several times per year holds an "In Celebration of You" day <br />for employees and this is a time for the managers to acknowledge employee's for their service and performance with Cen- <br />tral which typically is accompanied by a small token of appreciation. <br />25A-110 <br />
