Council meeting/recognition event. Advance notice is necessary to ensure that <br />requests are processed accurately and to allow staff adequate time to prepare <br />speaking points, and to confirm that recipients are able to attend the City Council <br />meeting or event. Email requests should include the following information: <br />Name of Recipient(s) <br />Contact Information <br />Date of Presentation (City Council meeting or event) <br />Type of Award (proclamation/certificate of recognition) <br />Brief Background Information (recipient/event) <br />10. Councilmember requests for recognition at a City Council meeting or recognition <br />event will be forwarded to all Councilmembers for their review. A Majority of the City <br />Council must consent to the request before it can be approved. <br />Page 3 <br />65A-9
