<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> V. EVALUATION OF PROPOSALS <br /> Proposals shall be submitted in the format as described below. Proposals will be evaluated based on <br /> the specified weighted percentages. <br /> <br /> Description of Operation (15%) <br /> <br /> Describe how all required tasks are to be completed including vending machine installation, <br /> maintenance and service. Include proposed response time to service calls. <br /> <br /> Qualifications and Experience (40%) <br /> <br /> Provide a synopsis of the vendor's qualifications and past experience. Include a description of <br /> similar vending operations or agreements. The vendor shall identify a Manager and other key <br /> personnel to be assigned, their qualifications, representative experience, and their capability to <br /> explore and resolve problems. <br /> Equipment, Item Selection, and Pricing and Marketing (15%) <br /> <br /> Provide a description of vending machines to be utilized in operations, including and safety <br /> and/or anti-vandalism features therein, as well as capability to provide custom machine facades <br /> that incorporate graphics provided by the City for machines at select locations; proposed menu <br /> items and pricing in detail. <br /> <br /> Revenue (30%) <br /> <br /> The vendor shall complete Exhibit A (City Revenue Proposal) located at the end of the Request <br /> for Proposal. <br /> Extra points will be given to proposals that are able to utilize technology, printouts or some <br /> other reporting process so that City can verify gross sales. <br /> <br /> <br /> The response to this Request for Proposal should contain documentation of vendors and/or vendor's <br /> agency's credentials and expertise in this field. Substantial consideration will be given to vendors with <br /> demonstrable and documented experience in similar work. Responses will be evaluated on the basis of <br /> the qualifications, abilities, and responsiveness of the proposing vendors. <br /> <br /> An evaluation committee appointed by the Executive Director of Parks, Recreation and Community <br /> Services Agency will review the responses received. All proposals received will be fully reviewed and <br /> rated by the Evaluation Committee. The ultimate vendor selections will be based upon both business <br /> experience and projected revenue. <br /> <br /> <br /> VI. CITY RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br /> The City will provide the following: <br /> <br /> 1.
