RECOMMENDATION: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2013-02 to allow a reduction in the <br />minimum lot size as conditioned. <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2013-03 to allow a reduction in <br />parking as conditioned. <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2013-04 to allow a reduction in front <br />yard, side yard and rear yard setbacks as conditioned. <br />' Management Aide Matt Foulkes presented the staff report and recommendation. <br />Applicant Blanca Hernandez was available to address the commission. <br />The public hearing was opened. STAFF COMMENTS <br />Executive Director Trevino commented on the city council's budget; highlighted the <br />designation of $2.6 million to update the zoning ordinance and general plan. <br />6. PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Mill commented that the illegal painted signs on the building at Euclid <br />and 2nd had been removed and thanked staff for their efforts on this and on the <br />efforts to demolish the Saddleback Inn buildings damaged by fire. <br />Chairman Alderete informed the commission that he will not attend the June 24, <br />2013 meeting. <br />Executive Director Trevino briefed the Commission on The Met at South Coast <br />project. A business disagreement evolved, judge appointed receiver to sell property, <br />~ Genesis Real Estate Group. They will buy the entitlement; assignment will require <br />
