CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES <br />CONTRACTOR shall; <br />4.1 Assign a SA WIB CM who will work closely with each participant and <br />develop a relationship to understand the participant's needs, assess career <br />goals, and arrange an appropriate VTR or WEX activity. <br />4.2 Discuss and obtain concurrence with WTW staff prior to returning <br />participant for identified barriers/noncooperation to minimize issues that <br />impede participants' ability to complete the VTR or WEX activity. <br />4.3 Provide an orientation to VTR and WEX activities to all <br />participants. <br />4.4 Provide workshops that will enhance participants' success on the <br />job, empower participants to manage conflict and change at the workplace, and <br />assist participants in discovering opportunities for growth and development at <br />any job. <br />4.5 Provide training, case management, and coaching to assist the <br />participant in order to address barriers, ensure completion of VTR/WEX <br />program, and assist in obtaining employment. <br />4.6 Work with and motivate difficult to place participants who have <br />multiple barriers, which may include a resistance to program participation. <br />4.7 Provide services to meet ethnic diversity in a manner sensitive to <br />individual with literacy, language and sociocultural issues that demonstrate <br />language or cultural barriers to employment, including resistance to pursuing <br />employment in occupation s that may be perceived as nontraditional. <br />4.8 Resolve attitudinal barriers toward obtaining and retaining <br />employment, such as fear of going to work, anger and resentment from being <br />required to participate, low self-esteem/motivation, problems with public <br />transportation, and child care concerns. <br />4.9 Assign participant to an appropriate VTR or WEX activity based on <br />I (AIAM0313 ) <br />5 of 22 <br />(April 8, 2013)
