December 13, 2012 <br />ADDENDUM NO.2 <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />PARKING OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br />DOWNTOWN PARKING FACILITIES <br />Notice is hereby given that the City of Santa Ana, Community Development Agency has <br />made certain modifications, additions, and /or deletions, in the specifications to RFP NO: 12- <br />060 for PARKING OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES DOWNTOWN <br />PARKING FACILITIES. This addendum shall become a part of the original Request for <br />Proposal due by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. <br />This addendum is provided in response to questions received prior to Thursday, December 6, <br />2012. <br />1. Can you please provide revenue and expense details for the past 3 years? <br />A. <br />2012* 2011 2010 <br />Total Revenue $ 1,282,738 $ 1,261,144 $ 1,140,247 <br />Total Expense $ 956,195 $ 1,075,843 $ 905,859 <br />* 2012 figures are through October 31, 2012 <br />2. Are all parking revenues deposited in parking operator's bank account or in City <br />depository? <br />A. The operator shall take every precaution to protect the City's revenue, and to ensure <br />that all sums due and owing the City from patrons of the Parking Facilities are properly <br />assessed, collected, accounted for, and deposited into a depository selected and approved <br />by the City or in parking operator's bank account with City approval. In addition, Within <br />ninety (90) days after the end of each accounting year, the Operator shall, at the Operator's <br />sole expense, submit to the City a Statement of Gross Receipts, audited by a Certified Public <br />Accountant, for each accounting year <br />3. Do you currently accept credit cards? If yes, are all fees associated with credit card <br />transactions pass through expenses? Who is the merchant of credit i.e., which <br />clearing house are the credit card transactions processed through? <br />A. Currently, none of the four parking structures have the capability for patrons to pay via <br />credit card. The surface lot pay station is the only location where credit cards are accepted <br />and it is a pass through expense for the parking operator. The credit card transactions are <br />processed through Elavon. <br />
