4. What type of staffing is currently in place for maintenance /janitorial services? <br />A. Currently, the parking operator has two full -time maintenance /janitorial staff. <br />5. Who will be responsible for bulb /lighting fixture replacement? <br />A. The parking operator is responsible for maintaining and /or replacing the light fixtures <br />as part of providing maintenance to the structures. This is a reimbursable expense. <br />6. Are there any City owned vehicles or golf cart that may be used by the parking <br />operator? <br />A. No, the City does not provide any vehicle or golf carts for use by the parking operator. <br />7. Who enforces the surface lot with the Digital Luke pay station? <br />A. The surface lot is enforced by Santa Ana Police Department Parking Control Officers. <br />8. Is Armored Revenue pick -up a requirement or at operator's discretion? If a <br />requirement, is there a contract current in place and what is the current cost? <br />Should we include this cost in the management fee? <br />A. Armored Revenue pick -up is at operator's discretion. <br />9. Will the contractor be selling and collecting monthly parking passes? If yes, <br />approximately how many monthly contracts exist? <br />A. Yes, the parking operator will be responsible for selling monthly passes and collecting <br />monthly fees. On average, the maximum number of monthly passes sold at each parking <br />structure are: <br />Structure A: 400 <br />Structure B: 600 <br />Structure C: 300 <br />Structure D: 500 <br />10. Please elaborate on the validation program — who is eligible and how many <br />validations are sold per month? Are all cost associated with generating validations a <br />pass through expense (i.e. not part of the management fee)? <br />A. Validations are stickers that can be purchased from the parking operator by businesses <br />located in the downtown that choose to validate parking for their patrons. The validations <br />can be bought in half hour or hour increments and can be used at any of the four parking <br />structures. On average, $3,000 worth of validations are sold monthly. Costs associated <br />with generating validations are a reimbursable expense and are not to be included in the <br />
