VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY (MATERIALS) = $55,857IN-KIND FUNDS <br />(Funds will be provided from CTV 3 Time Warner Cable Franchise Fee Funds for Purchase of New In -Kind <br />Equipment for WIA Grant — Refer attachment S2) <br />PERCENTAGE OF BUDGET DIRECTLY TO YOUTH: WIA Funds-70% of Budget Directly to Youth in <br />the form of paid work experience, training and mentoring. Other Funds- 75% of budget directly to youth in <br />the form of paid internships, mentoring and training. <br />WORK EXPERIENCE TRACKING: All Work experience compensation will be tracked via daily sign -in <br />sheets and bi-monthly timesheets (Please refer to attachment T for samples of timeshects and sign -in sheets) <br />WORK EXPERIENCE (Refer to Paid Work Experience Policy attachment) <br />SUPPORTIVE SERVICES: Seeds to Trees Academy program does not have a supportive services policy. We <br />provide all transportation to and from training sites. We also have available on a weekly basis a MSW mentor who <br />has compiles a resource binder for us to refer youth to (refer to attachment # for resource items). <br />INCENTIVE POLICY: We do not provide incentives as our focus is in providing a paid work experience and <br />training. We do however have a scholarship program that has been established by one of our previous WIA Seeds <br />to Trees youth interns; " The Moises Garcia Seeds to Trees" Scholarship which provides an annual scholarship of <br />$300 to a WIA youth ( please refer to attachment U fora description of scholarship essay) <br />
