10 <br />Our philosophy is that that every one of our students has what it takes to achieve their goals <br />and that our job is to help them realize their potential. We do this by striving for excellence in <br />the areas that we believe will have the biggest impact on our students' success. <br />Engaging Faculty & Staff: The faculty and staff of the Career College of California is an <br />incredible group of individuals. Each is experienced, professional and motivated by helping <br />students achieve their goals. They take our students' success personally and are truly <br />passionate about seeing their students succeed. Our instructors all have many years of <br />professional experience in their field as well as teaching experience. Our instructors are <br />knowledgeable, patient, and utilize a variety of teaching methods in order to achieve success <br />for students with many different learning styles and paces. <br />Small Classes & One -on -One Attention: We keep our class size small so that we may work one- <br />on-one with students, give students hands-on practice and assure that each student is <br />achieving results daily. Our average class size is 10-15 students. <br />PROGRAM MODEL <br />PRE -ASSESSMENT OF SKILLS {GAIN Test} <br />CCC uses the General Assessment of Instructional Needs (GAIN) test for the purpose of <br />assessing students' minimum math and verbal skills for admissions purposes and for <br />measuring students' academic gain through their programs of study. Minimum scores <br />must be achieved as a condition for admissions and for graduation. Students who score <br />below our minimum requirements cannot begin their career training program and are <br />required to attend tutoring daily until they can increase their scores to our minimum <br />requirements. Students who score at or slightly above our minimum requirements for <br />admissions are able to begin their career training but are required to attend tutoring in <br />order to increase their scores to our specified in -school minimum before the midpoint <br />of their program. CCC offers foundational/basic education tutoring five days a week <br />after class to help students achieve sufficient math and verbal skills. <br />TRAINING {Technical, Vocational, Life Skills + Foundational} <br />TECHNICAL SKILLS (Medical, Business + Legal} <br />Technical training is offered through the program course work for the following <br />programs: <br />o Business Office Administration: 720 hours <br />o Medical Front Office with Billing & Coding: 720 hours <br />o Medical Assistant: 820 hours (Including mandatory externship) <br />o Paralegal: 770 hours (Including mandatory externship) <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
