16 <br />Career Services Department is staffed with two full-time employment professionals who <br />partner with our students to build their careers. <br />5. Customized Job Search: Once each student has been trained in how to launch and <br />manage their job search they are required to send out 15 resumes a day. Our staff <br />begins a custom job search for each student. CCC has a network of over 1,000 <br />employers in Orange County as well as 25 very engaged Employer Advisory Board <br />Members. We are constantly developingjob leads from our network and matching <br />these job opportunities with our students. Every student will be sent out on a job <br />interview and our staff works relentlessly to help each student find an excellent <br />placement. <br />At the end of the two week Career Services "Boot Camp" students will have learned the <br />following skills and most will have already secured employment: <br />• Career planning <br />• Interview skills <br />• Mock interviews <br />• Job search techniques <br />• Developing job leads <br />• Networking (in-person and online) <br />• On the job success (first 7, 14, 21 <br />and 30 days) <br />• Dressing for success <br />• Time management <br />• Advancing in your job <br />Why Employers Hire Career College of California Graduates <br />Employers hire our graduates because at CCC we train the "whole" person. Through our close <br />relationships with employers we have identified exactly what skills and tools our students need <br />to be the most desirable job candidates on the market. Our experience has shown that <br />employers require both, "technical skills" and "soft skills'. We provide our students with both. <br />Employers hire CCC graduates because they know our graduates have the "whole package". <br />Employer Advisory Board <br />The Career Services Department develops and maintains strong relationships with employers to <br />assist students in finding excellentjob opportunities. Many of these employers have hired CCC <br />graduates before and rely on the quality they have come to expect from our school. Our Career <br />Services professionals are constantly developing new employment opportunities by working <br />directly with hiring managers to match graduates with jobs for a perfect fit. <br />D. What employers recognize the certificate(s)? All of the employers that we work with <br />recognize the certificate achieved upon graduating our courses. <br />VIII. CCC uses the General Assessment of Instructional Needs (GAIN) test <br />for the purpose of assessing students' minimum math and verbal skills for admissions purposes <br />
