FOURTH SIDE LETTER AMENDMENT TO THE <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AND <br />THE SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION <br />FOR FISCAL YEARS 2010-13 <br />The City of Santa Ana (City) and the Service Employees International Union <br />(SEIU) have met and agreed to amend the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) <br />between the CITY and SEIU for Fiscal Years 2010-13 to change the calculation <br />method concerning salary continuation for employees on military leave. <br />Consequently, the parties have agreed to amend Article X, section 10.3B, as <br />follows: <br />Article X. Section 10.38 <br />"Temporary. Members of the reserve forces of the United States, or the National <br />Guard, granted temporary leave when ordered to duty, <br />Military and Voepens Code, will be granted leave with pay not to exceed thirty <br />(30) ealender working days in each calendar year after one (1) year's service with <br />the City upon presenting satisfactory proof of orders to and from such temporary <br />active duties." <br />Kathie 5.
