REPLACEMENT HOUSING PLAN <br />1129 S. Orange <br />Statement of Purpose and Objective <br />This Replacement Housing Plan is prepared in accordance with California Health and Safety <br />Code Section 33413. The project consists of the demolition of three units on one parcel. <br />The Community Development Agency of the City of Santa Ana (Agency) will replace all <br />dwelling units previously occupied by low- and moderate - income households in connection with <br />demolition of 1129 S. Orange. <br />The property located at 1129 S. Orange includes 2 one - bedroom units, and 1 two - bedroom unit. <br />These units are subject to replacement in accordance with the legal requirement of the California <br />Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33413 et seq.). <br />Replacement units will initially be made available for occupancy at any time during the period <br />beginning one year before the Agency's submission of the information required under the plan <br />and ending four years after commencement of demolition. <br />All replacement housing will be provided within four years of commencement of demolition. <br />Before entering into a contract committing the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City <br />of Santa Ana to provide funds for the proposed activity that will result in demolition, the Agency <br />will make public by publication in the newspaper of general circulation the information listed <br />below. <br />Project Property Description <br />The project property located at 1129 S. Orange is delineated in a map (Exhibit A) attached. Each <br />property is listed by address with parcel number and number of bedrooms (Exhibit B). Pursuant <br />to the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33413 et <br />seq.), all occupied and vacant occupiable units will be replaced in kind. <br />Replacement Housing Units <br />Exhibit C delineates by number of bedrooms the location where the replacement units are <br />located. It is anticipated that 320 E. Adams, Habitat for Humanity Project and 939 E. 17`h Street, <br />Santiago Villas Project will be utilized for replacement housing units. Any replacement units not <br />accommodated in these projects will be developed on infill sites or will acquired or otherwise <br />caused by regulation or agreement the purchase of long -term affordability covenants that meet <br />replacement obligations for the 1129 S.
