1. Showroom buildings. <br />The glazed portion of all showrooms shall be a minimum of 16 <br />feet and a maximum of 35 feet in height. Office space <br />attached to the showroom structure may exceed the height of <br />the showroom, but shall not exceed 35 feet. <br />Service /Accessory structures <br />The height of all accessory buildings or buildings used <br />exclusively for service shall not exceed 24 feet. <br />3. Parking structures. <br />Parking structures up to and including three levels shall not <br />exceed 40 feet in height. Four and five -story structures shall <br />not exceed 60 feet in height. <br />C. Protective Screening. <br />Each service area and bulk car storage area for each lot shall <br />be screened from public view along each street and plaza <br />within the Auto Mall by a minimum six foot high wall and from <br />each street outside the Auto Mall by a minimum eight foot high <br />wall. <br />;2. The service and dealer inventory storage areas shall be <br />screened from and be oriented away from public view <br />including the freeway. <br />All mechanical equipment shall be screened by a solid wall so <br />that it is not viewable by the public. All air - conditioning or <br />other equipment located on the roof of a building shall be <br />screened from public view, preferably by the building parapet. <br />D. Site Geometry. <br />Ordinance No. NS -2650 <br />Page 8 of 24 <br />All showrooms should be symmetrically oriented towards the central <br />public road round- abouts adjacent to their sites and /or Edinger <br />Avenue. The buildings are encouraged to be simple, sculptured <br />geometric shapes (triangles, circles and rectangles), with the flush <br />sleekness of streamline automotive design.
