SAPD Integrated Law Enforcement Solution RFP <br />Chapter 3: Functional Response <br />Chapter <br />Functional Specifications <br />The City requires vendors to respond to the functional specifications in electronic form, <br />using the Microsoft Excel workbook, below. <br />ti <br />Functional <br />Specifications <br />Instructions <br />For each requirement, select a response from the "Vendor Response" column to <br />inform SAPD the degree to which your company will fulfill the requirement. The <br />following defines what each of the five response codes represent in both definition <br />as well as point value: <br />Vendor <br />Response <br />Codes <br />Definition <br />RFP Point Value <br />A <br />Existing: The requirement will be met by proposed <br />5 <br />existing software that is installed and operational at <br />other sites. An "A" response to any requirement <br />signifies that the proposed system meets the <br />requirement in a seamless manner. Indirect or <br />implied solutions will not be coded "A ", nor will <br />functionality that is a configuration option for the <br />client. <br />B <br />Configuration: Requirement will be met by <br />4 <br />configuring existing software. All configuration <br />work specified under this response code must be <br />fulfilled entirely by the vendor. <br />19C -58 3.1 <br />
