Whereas, the City of Santa Ana, California and the Municipality of Santa Catarina Pinula, <br />Guatemala hereby officially recognize their Partnership wider the terms of the AMUPREV <br />Cooperative Agreement with USAID (No. RLA- A- 00 -09- 00050 -00); <br />Whereas, each partner recognizes the need for, and is committed to exchanging information <br />and sharing expertise after the CityLinks AMUPREV Partnership has formally concluded; <br />Whereas, each partner desires to build linkages for, and actively engage a broad array of <br />participants, including relevant municipal staff and officials, police, citizens, community -based <br />and youth organizations, and the private and academic sectors in this exchange effort where <br />appropriate; and <br />Now, therefore, let it be agreed that the City of Santa Ana and the Santa Ana Police <br />Department and the municipality of Santa Catarina Pinula, Guatemala, having identified the <br />specific areas of focus of the Partnership, will continue to work cooperatively to develop and <br />execute activities in line with the goals of the AMUPREV Program. <br />ICMA —USAID Support <br />ICMA will assist exchange effort by providing program guidance, handling all liaison with <br />USAID, and finding approved travel and other support as needed during the duration of the <br />Partnership. <br />1 <br />November 4, 2013 November 4, 2013 <br />David Cavazos Chief of Police CARLOS ROJAS <br />City Manager <br />Mayor Jose Antonio Coro Garcia <br />Mixco, Guatemala <br />-, <br />November 4, 2013 <br />Carlos Loria- Chaves, Director, AMUPREV <br />Santa Ana, California <br />AL( <br />f ��J �b`A19 pG �ab4 <br />.,; St78ID i° <br />
