7. To remove litter /debris from site the same day it is <br />scheduled for cleaning <br />8. To avoid blowing or sweeping debris onto private property, <br />streets, parking lots, or storm drains <br />9. To irrigate adequately <br />10. To remove weeds within three (3) days and any <br />subsequent day beyond three (3) days <br />11. To inspect irrigation systems <br />12. To repair irrigation within twenty (24) hours <br />13. To cease irrigation during rain when additional soil <br />moisture is not needed. (Per Controller) <br />14. To mow turf and edge weekly <br />15. To provide litter pick up weekly <br />16. To add additional personnel and equipment to complete <br />specification <br />Continued failure of the contractor to provide acceptable services shall <br />give the City the right to deliver the services by other means for said <br />deficiencies and back - charge the Contractor for the incurred costs <br />including administrative costs associated with having the work completed <br />by other means. <br />L. ARTIFICIAL TURF CARE <br />1) Cleaning <br />a. All artificial turf shall be cleaned weekly. All trash, debris, <br />leaves, etc., shall be removed by mechanical blower <br />and /or by hand. Care shall be exercised as to not displace <br />infill sand. Infill sand displaced due to contractor <br />negligence shall be replaced at Contractor's expense. <br />b. All pet waste shall be removed weekly. Areas receiving <br />high pet traffic shall be sterilized using approved products. <br />C. Graffiti shall be removed using manufacturer approved <br />methods within 24 hours of notification. Graffiti removal will <br />be considered extraordinary maintenance. <br />d. All metallic objects shall be removed monthly through use <br />of magnetic device designed to remove metal debris. <br />
