1.2 Consultant Work. Consultant promises and agrees to complete the following specific Services as detailed herein as part of preparing a comprehensive plan for completing the Project: 1.2.1 Assessment of the City of Santa Ana Planning and Zoning codes, plans, and documents; 1.2.2 Assessment regarding Santa Ana General Plan / Zoning Code update needs / requirements; 1.2.3 Development of a detailed plan to update Santa Ana's General Plan and Zoning Code; 1.2.4 Identification of best practices and estimated resources needed to accomplish update of General Plan and Zoning Code; 1.2.S Development of public outreach plan, including web portal; 1.2.6 Detail plan for data collection and analysis; 1.2.7 Set up computerized notification process plan; 1.2.8 Prepare a plan for the process of community engagement; 1.2.9 Meet with all Planning Commissioners, staff, management, and elected officials for at least one (1) hour each to discuss the Proj ect; 1.2.10 Create schedule of required City Council and Planning Commission hearings needed for completion of the Project; 1.2,11 Identify the staff needed to prepare the framework for the Project, including the preparation of a request for proposal for the completion of the Project; and, 1.2.12 Review the pending circulation and housing elements, as well as the Harbor Specific Plan and the Third/Broadway Parking Structure reuse project, for consistency with the City's General Plan. 1.3 Term. The term of this Agreement shall be from February 3, 2014, to March 28, 2014, unless earlier terminated or extended as provided herein. Consultant shall complete the Services within the term of this Agreement, and shall meet any other established schedules and deadlines. The Parties may, by mutual, written consent, extend the term of this Agreement if necessary to complete the Services. 2
