INSURANCE ON PILE <br />WORK KIM PROCEED <br />UNNL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE: � � y p )Ai L FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT <br />AGREEMENT INCORPORATING COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT REQUIREMENTS <br />o: CoACz) <br />N- 2013 -152 -001 <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on the 30`x' day of <br />January 2014, by and between MDG Associates, hie., a California corporation ( "Consultant ") and <br />the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the <br />Constitution and laws of the State of California ( "City "). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into that certain Consultant Agreement Incorporating Community <br />Development Block Grant Requirements, dated November 2013 (Agreement # N -2013- <br />152, hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement ") by which Consultant has provided technical <br />consulting services for federal grant programs. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to extend the <br />Term thereof and clarify the commencement date of said Agreement. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all <br />the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First Amendment, the <br />parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date to June 30, 2014. <br />2. The commencement date of said Agreement contained a clerical error and should have started <br />as of October 31, 2013 rather than November. <br />3. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect, including the billing rate listed in the Consultant's proposal dated <br />October 11, 2013, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to Agreement <br />on the date and year first written above. <br />AL: <br />Nancy Fong, Interb Executive Director - CDA <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Consultant <br />Sonia R.
