Information Outlets provided shall support pin /pair assignment <br />Standard 568B. <br />1.4.1.2.2. Color: White <br />1.5. WORK AREA INFORMATION OUTLET MOUNTING ASSEMBLIES <br />1.5.1. Work Area Outlets: <br />1.5.1.1.Provide CommScope SYSTIMAX flush -mount Modular Faceplate to <br />house data and voice outlets, capable of housing a minimum of four <br />outlets. The faceplate shall fit over a standard NEMA electrical outlet <br />fitted with a single -gang, plaster ring cover and shall be white in color. <br />1.5.1.2.Provide CommScope SYSTIMAX Dust Cover /Blanks to be installed in <br />faceplate outlet positions that are not populated with data and voice <br />outlets. Provide them in sufficient quantities to cover all unused <br />openings in every faceplate installed. <br />1.6. PATCH PANELS, BACKBOARDS, PUNCH BLOCKS <br />1.6.1. Provide CommScope SYSTIMAX Category 5e certified, 19" rack mount <br />patch panels. Comply with the following: <br />1.6.1.1.Pin /pair assignment standard for patch panel port/connectors shall be <br />5688. <br />1.6.1.2.Maximum port/connector count for any single patch panel supplied <br />shall be 48 ports. <br />1.6.1.3.Provide cable support assemblies to manage and provide strain relief <br />to termination of work area cable to patch panel ports. <br />1.6.1.4. Sufficient space for labeling of each individual connector. <br />1.6.2. Provide all required CommScope SYSTIMAX optical fiber patch panels <br />with all sub - assemblies and components, including splice trays. Comply <br />with the following: <br />1.6.2.1.Each patch panel and any associated enclosure hardware shall be <br />wall mountable or 19" rack mountable as required by scope of work. <br />Page 5 of 24 <br />
