sgva l�GSa ± �C,nwrismn��tdellq <br />01 N <br />N -2014 -022 <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN <br />THE ORANGE COUNTY HUMPH TRAFFICKING TASK FORCE <br />190191 <br />FOR COOPERATION RELATING TO THE MUTUAL GOAL OS' IDENTIFYING, RESCUING, AND <br />SERVING VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN ORANGE COUNTY. <br />This Memorandum of Understanding, hereinafter referred to as "MOU ", shall <br />stand as evidence that the above parties agree to participate in an exchange <br />of services by coordinating the mission objectives of the Orange County Human <br />Trafficking Task Force ( OCHTTF). <br />The crime of human trafficking requires a comprehensive and collaborative <br />response between law enforcement, service providers and the community. The <br />MOU sets out the mutual understanding of the principles underlying the <br />relationship between the parties in matters concerning the planning and <br />delivery of law enforcement investigations, victim services and promoting <br />public awareness. By signing this MOU, the signing party agrees to: <br />Article 1 <br />Collaborate productively with other OCHTTF members to help identify and serve <br />victims. Collaboration may include the following: <br />a) Cooperative programs and projects of mutual benefit, including <br />visits and exchange of experts or technical personnel <br />b) Organization and participation in conferences, courses, workshops, <br />events and other joint meetings of mutual interest <br />c) Exchange of technical data and information relating to <br />standardization and conformity of task force developmental assessments <br />d) Coordination of joint education programs or trainings to raise <br />competency in relation to human trafficking, law enforcement and victim <br />service provision <br />e) Other forms of cooperation as agreed by the parties <br />Article 2 <br />Cooperative activities under this MOU shall be subject to the availability of <br />funds and personnel <br />Article 3 <br />The parties should consult with each other before any information derived <br />from cooperation activities is disclosed for commercial or media purposes <br />
