What can SAHA do to reduce program costs? <br />• Not allow housing tenants to rent larger bedroom size unit than the size of their voucher. <br />• Reduce fraud by reporting tenants. <br />• Provided Congress Representative Address so that participants write to them with their concerns. <br />• Not conduct annual inspections. <br />• Count wages for full time students <br />• Not increase the voucher size when the size of family changes /increases <br />• No zero income allowed <br />• Changing the qualification rules for zero income to 6 months to 1 year max <br />• Offer classes for budgeting <br />Request monies for assistance from public sector (businesses and / or investors <br />• Suggest families to look for friends and neighbors to help with the translation and completing paperwork <br />(cut down SAHA's expenses on translation) <br />• One person volunteered to be translator for other participants <br />• To reduce bedroom size for families who have been given the extra bedroom for reasonable <br />accommodation <br />What do you think about the SAHA mailing you notices (i.e. lease amendments, letters, newsletters?
