REGIONAL COMMERCIAL CENTERS AND REGIONAL ATTRACTIONS <br />PLANNED SIGN PROGRAMS <br />Assistant Planner I Ali Pezeshkpour provided an overview of the proposed <br />amendments to the Santa Ana Municipal Code for Planned Sign Programs since <br />the last Commission hearing held on September 23, 2013, including definitions <br />for regional automobile dealerships and the addition of language for electronic <br />message displays. <br />Public speakers: <br />Raymond Rodriguez, President at Point of Sale Outdoor Media, provided a <br />discussion on new signage options. <br />Bob Bisno, 200 North Cabrillo Developer, commented that the proposed <br />legislation was too restrictive and that the proposed ordinance was not business <br />friendly. <br />Planning Commission Minutes Page 2 of 5 February 10, 2014 <br />
