HRCA Nos. 2010 -03 thru 2010 -05 <br />HRC Nos. 2010 -03 thru 2010 -05 <br />August 12, 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />2022 North Ross Street — Cotton Mather House (HRCA /HRC No. 2010 -03). The Cotton Mather <br />House is an architecturally significant building constructed in 1922 and is a Mission /Spanish <br />Colonial Revival style. Character defining features of this structure include four arched openings <br />on the front fagade, roof configuration, tower entry, and tile roofing. It is recommended to be <br />categorized as Contributive because it "is a good example of period architecture" and "contributes <br />to the overall character and history" of historically significant Floral Park (Exhibit 2). <br />2127 North Greenleaf Street — E.B. Smith House (HRCA/HRC No. 2010 -04). The E.B. Smith <br />House is an architecturally significant building constructed in 1927 and is a Tudor Revival style. <br />Character defining features include high pitched front facing gable, rolled roof edges, smooth <br />stucco finish, original wood windows, and arched porch entry. It is recommended to be <br />categorized as Contributive because it "is a good example of period architecture" and "contributes <br />to the overall character and history" of historically significant Floral Park (Exhibit 3). <br />917 North Louise Street — W.P. Heninger House (HRCA/HRC No. 2010 -05). The W.P. <br />Heninger House is an architecturally significant building built in 1930 in the Spanish Colonial <br />Revival style. Character defining features of the W.P. Heninger House include high pitched front <br />facing gable, clay tube attic vents, arched entry, and pony wall that creates a courtyard. It is <br />recommended to be categorized as Contributive because it "is a good example of period <br />architecture" and "contributes to the overall character and history" of historically significant <br />Washington Square (Exhibit 4). <br />CEQA Compliance <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended actions are exempt <br />from further review under Section 15331, Class 31, as these actions are designed to preserve <br />historic resources.
