Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2010 -06 and <br />Historic Register Categorization No. 2010 -06. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Request of Applicant <br />This request is for two structures to be designated to the Santa Ana Register of Historical <br />Properties (Exhibit 1). The applicants are the homeowners: Mel and Catherine Ladd at 2127 <br />North Greenleaf Street; and Raymond David and Linda Chapel at 413 West Santa Clara Avenue. <br />No known code violations exist at either of these properties. <br />Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2010 -04 and Historic Register Categorization No. <br />2010 -04 were continued to October 7, 2010 due to a lack of quorum at the July 1, 2010 and <br />August 12, 2010 Historic Resources Commission meetings. <br />Analysis of the Issues <br />The structures identified meet the minimum selection criteria for inclusion on the Santa Ana <br />Register of Historical Properties pursuant to criteria contained in Section 30 -2 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code. The first criterion for selection requires that structures be 50 or more years old. <br />As detailed in the following property descriptions, the structures proposed for placement on the <br />Register meet the minimum age criterion. The analysis further indicates the criteria each property <br />meets for consideration of historic designation. <br />C <br />
