Smith <br />House is an architecturally significant building constructed in 1927 and is a Tudor Revival style. <br />Character defining features include high pitched front facing gable, rolled roof edges, smooth <br />stucco finish, original wood windows, and arched porch entry. It is recommended to be <br />categorized as Contributive because it "is a good example of period architecture" and "contributes <br />to the overall character and history" of historically significant Floral Park (Exhibit 2). <br />413 West Santa Clara Avenue — Neff House (HRCA/HRC No. 2010 -06). The Neff House is an <br />architecturally significant building built in 1929 in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. Character <br />defining features of the Neff House include low pitched front facing gable, clay tube attic vents, <br />front porch, and original windows. It is recommended to be categorized as Contributive because it <br />"is a good example of period architecture" and "contributes to the overall character and history" of <br />historically significant Floral Park (Exhibit 3). <br />CEQA Compliance <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended actions are exempt <br />from further review under Section 15331, Class 31, as these actions are designed to preserve <br />historic resources.
