He has provided technical <br />direction and peer review for dozens of noise studies in several states, including studies of interchanges and major facilities, <br />and has designed and reviewed/approved the design of many noise reducing barriers. He uses FHWA and state guidelines for <br />the analysis and control of highway noise including Stamina 2.0/Sound32/2000 and TNM® (FHWA-PD-96-009). Rob is a <br />Member of the Transportation Research Board's Transportation Related Noise and Vibration Committee, ADC40 where he <br />serves on the Guided Transit Subcommittee. His project experience includes <br />numerous highway designs and 3R improvement projects, ITS applications and traffic operations improvements, traffic impact <br />analysis, parking analysis and design of over 150 traffic signals and systems, and the preparation of site plans and parking <br />layouts for residential and commercial developments. He has also participated in the preparation of several conceptual design <br />reports for highway projects.
