All security officers will be required to read and verify they understand the Post Orders and at <br />minimum, shall be tested during the on-the-job training period, and at minimum annually during <br />site inspections. <br />The Contractor shall ensure hiring, training and administration of motivated and professional <br />employees that meet or exceed both the Contractor's and the City's standards and support <br />continuous performance of contract requirements. <br />The Contractor is responsible for the daily personal appearance of security personnel. The <br />Contractor shall provide seasonal uniforms and weather - appropriate protective clothing <br />necessary to identify staff as security guards. <br />Security officers are prohibited from carrying weapons of any kind, including but not limited to: <br />firearms, nightsticks, martial arts weapons or equipment, batons, or any chemical agent spray or <br />liquid. <br />The Contractor shall agree to remove from the site, whenever required to do so by the City, any <br />contractor employee considered by the City to be unsatisfactory or undesirable, within the limits <br />of any applicable laws. <br />Council Meetings <br />Council Meetings will be held every first and third Tuesdays of the month. <br />Officer duty hours: 1730 -2100 hours or may be extended until 2300 horns. Officers will remain <br />on duty until released by appropriate authority. <br />Officers (two unarmed Custom Protection Officers) will be assigned duties for the Santa Ana <br />Council Meeting. Officers will report no later than 1730 hours. An officer will be posted right <br />outside of the Council Chambers. The second officer will provide foot patrols in the parking lot <br />immediately in front of the Council Chambers. Officer is to monitor the area to ensure only <br />authorized vehicles are allowed access to park.
