Firm Profile
IDModeling, Inc. is Infrastructure Data Modeling
(IDM), We focus on water efficiency, and adding
value to water system operations and planning. Our
business model is to create, calibrate, and apply
hydraulic models that work with your water utility
data, to support informed, impactful decision making.
We will work with the City of Santa Ana (City) to
deliver results that are meaningful to your bottom
line, considering customer service, fire protection,
system redundancy and resiliency, water quality,
water loss, and system operating costs. We will then
deliver an asset and operational management
solution for you to continue to use, and benefit from,
post - project.
Leading with Contribution: IDM has set the
standard for hydraulic model, operational and
planning applications, and leveraging water data for
utility -wide benefit. We have refined and evolved
methods and techniques for infrastructure analysis,
information management, documentation, training,
and support. We have led industry trends and
established best practices and procedures through
industry contributions, as summarized below:
• Co- authors for the AWWA M5 (pending 2014)
for Information Management Best Practices,
Sections: Data Interoperability, Hydraulic
Modeling, Maintenance Management System,
and Mobile Computing.
• Co- author for Hydraulic Modeling Industry
Survey (2013) for Hydraulic Modeling Value
and Applications, under Engineering Modeling
Applications Committee (EMAC, AWWA)
• Lead authors for AWWA M32 (2012): Section 2 -
Hydraulic Model Development & Maintenance
and Section 4 - Hydraulic Model Calibration,
• Co -lead author for ESRI's GIS- Hydraulic Model
Reference Guide (2010),
• Founders of the Online Hydraulic Model Training
Program for Water /Wastewater Professionals,
Founders of Hydraulic Model User Groups
throughout the US
1< Firm and Pe
b. Team Org Chart
We have carefully selected team members for this
project based on experience with the City, experience
with similar projects and systems, experience with the
City's hydraulic model software, and overall cost -
effectiveness.
