City of Santa Ana -Park View at Town and Country Manor <br />and Traffic Draft EIR <br />Mitigation measures are required at this intersection to bring intersection performance back to pre - <br />project levels. <br />Level of Significance Before Mitigation <br />Significant. <br />Mitigation Measures <br />TRAN -2 The Applicant shall be responsible for implementation of the following <br />improvements at the intersection of Town & Country Road/SR -22 EB Ramps. City <br />and Caltrans acceptance of public improvements shall occur prior to issuance of <br />Certificate of Occupancy and Use. <br />• Restripe the northbound approach to include one northbound left -turn lane, one <br />northbound through lane, and one exclusive northbound right -turn lane. <br />Adequate pavement width exists to restripe an additional lane without <br />reconstructing the curb line. <br />• Restripe the eastbound approach to add a new exclusive eastbound right -turn <br />lane. Currently, the eastbound approach includes two eastbound left -turn lanes <br />and one 20 -foot eastbound through lane. Adequate width for a new right -turn <br />lane may be achieved by narrowing one existing 12 -foot left -turn lane to 10 <br />feet. Ultimately, the eastbound approach may be restriped to provide two 10- <br />foot left -turn lanes, one 11 -foot eastbound through lane, and one 11 -foot <br />eastbound right -turn lane. <br />TRAN -3 On- street parking on the east side of Lawson Way shall be prohibited for <br />approximately 180 feet south of Town & Country Road (to the fast driveway into the <br />adjacent parking lot) to provide adequate storage capacity for the new northbound <br />right -turn lane at the intersection of Town & Country Road/SR -22 EB Ramps. <br />TRAN -4 The Applicant shall be responsible for implementation of the following <br />improvements at the intersection of La Veta Avenue and Parker Street. City <br />acceptance of public improvements shall occur prior to issuance of Certificate of <br />Occupancy and Use. <br />• Restripe the northbound approach to include one northbound left -turn lane, and <br />two northbound right -turn lanes. Adequate pavement width exists to restripe <br />the additional right -turn lane without any capital improvements. <br />TRAN -5 The Applicant shall be responsible for implementation of the following <br />improvements at the intersection of Town & Country Road and Parker Street.
