A Medical Marijuana Collective shall not be located within a one <br />thousand five hundred foot (1,500') radius of a public or private high school or <br />within a one thousand foot (1,000') radius of a public or private preschool, <br />kindergarten, elementary, middle or junior high school except that a Medical <br />Marijuana Collective that was issued a Business License by the City before a <br />private school is located or built within the distance provisions of this Section <br />shall not be subject to the aforementioned distance limitations. Should the <br />distance limitations set forth herein be less than any state law distance limitation, <br />the state distance limitation shall apply. The distances specified in this <br />subdivision shall be determined by the horizontal distance measured in a straight <br />line from the property line of the school to the closest property line of the lot on <br />which the Medical Marijuana Collective is located, without regard to intervening <br />structures. <br />C. A Medical Marijuana Collective shall not be located within a one <br />thousand foot (1,000') radius of any other Medical Marijuana Collective. The <br />distance specified in this subdivision shall be determined by the horizontal <br />distance measured in a straight line from the property line of any other Medical <br />Marijuana Collective, to the closest property line of the lot on which the Medical <br />Marijuana Collective is located, without regard to intervening structures. <br />D. The exterior building and parking area lighting at the Property where a <br />Medical Marijuana Collective is located shall be in compliance with all applicable <br />provisions of this Code. <br />E. Any exterior or interior sign visible from the exterior of a Medical <br />Marijuana Collective shall be unlighted with the exception of an optional 18" by <br />18" or smaller lighted green cross with no lettering or additional symbols or <br />markings that may be placed on a window or door that is visible from the exterior <br />of the Property. <br />13 <br />04202014-REV.V30 <br />
