Exhibit A — Request for Proposal — Scope of Services DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF WORK The City of Santa Ann is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for Consbuction SLIN&Ying and Map Cracking Services. Construction Surveying Services In general, the Consultant shall perform mane ment piesv-,/aaciri and construction staking for various City projects or) an as -needed oasis, A California-ftensed land curievor shall be in responsible charge of all survey work performed under the contract. The Consultant's services shall mclude, but not !ap limited to, tile following: A- Research existing County and City records for survey inanumprits within the projectarea. B. Prior to any clearing. removal, or excavation efforts, perform a diiigent search for prol:*(Iry line nionuments, street cenirarline monuments, and benchmarks mthin the pioject area, recording their identities and precise locations in reference to nionumeriLs or witness 710111-InlentS that will not be diishrrbod during construction- The records of these monuments and references shaR conform to Sect -ion 8771 of the BLaireSS and Professions Code of the State of California. After completion of the construction, any monUfl'16nt distUrbed Or removed during construction shall he reset, conforming to Section 8771. Each centerline intersection shall be drawn on a single Corner record showing local be points and tie distances, The Comer Records shall be drifted in Microstation (version 8 or Parher), and a digital copy of each submittad to the City. C. Provide construction staking for project improvements, Records of the line and grade stakes (r_rat ollesitsl shall be on 'arms provided by the City, and the n6ginals -shall become the property at the Chy upon completion of each survey request. The City will providdigital construction plans and specifications for each project. The consultant shati furnish hard copies of plans for field personnel as needed. D. Set line and grods, stakes in accordance with the plans and specifications, NorN the City immediately of any discrepancies of design erricirs discovered on the plans during stakrng ar vJhPn verhving the line and grade of existing improvements at join points.
