• Posting copies of the environmental documents at locations throughout the <br />study area and on the City's website, <br />• Notifying residents, property owners and businesses within 500 feet of the <br />project alignments of the availability of the environmental document, the <br />scheduled public reviews meetings and ways to submit comment. Notifications <br />were provided in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. <br />• Notifying the broader community through flyers at key activity centers (in <br />English, Spanish and Vietnamese) and press releases in community newspapers <br />about the availability of the document, the meetings and methods for submitting <br />comments, <br />• Advising the city councils of Garden Grove and Santa Ana, and the OCTA Board <br />of the environmental document release and planned public meetings <br />• Hosting three public meetings that provided information about the project, and <br />opportunities for attendees to have their comments recorded by court reporters <br />or accepted in writing. <br />4.5.1 Public Review Meeting Notification <br />Several methods were used to notify the public about the availability of the EA /DEIR and <br />the scheduled Public Review Meetings, <br />Notification Database <br />A database of approximately 3,800 resident and business addresses near the proposed <br />Project corridor was assembled by the cities of Santa Ana and Garden Grove; it <br />encompassed all properties within a 500 -foot radius of the proposed corridor. <br />Noticing <br />The NOA for the Santa Ana - Garden Grove Fixed Guideway Project was published by the <br />State Clearinghouse on May 23, 2014 (SCH # 2010051060). In addition, copies of the <br />meeting notice were posted at the Santa Ana and Garden Grove City Hall information <br />desks and Public Works Department information counters, and at other gathering places <br />throughout the corridor. <br />Mailings <br />To notify the public of the availability of the EA /DEIR, where a copy might be viewed and <br />that three Public Review Meetings had been scheduled, notices were mailed to every <br />address in the notification database.
