Balancing the Natural and Built Environment <br />July 23, 2014 <br />Mr. Armando Fernandez <br />Senior Engineer <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />220 South Daisy Avenue <br />Santa Ana, CA 92703 <br />Subject: Walnut Pump Station Upgrade Project <br />Engineering Services Proposal <br />Dear Mr. Fernandez: <br />In response to recent discussions with the City, this engineering services proposal is being provided <br />for completion of the Walnut Pump Station Building Upgrade Project as described herein. <br />Scope of Services <br />Task I — Final Design <br />Psomas has received and is addressing the City's comments on the 100% design submittal of the <br />plans, specifications and construction cost estimate (PSE). To date, we are still awaiting guidance <br />from the City regarding the electrical service design for the proposed street lights along the pump <br />station frontage. Once that information is received and incorporated into the PSE, we will provide 3 <br />sets of the PSE for final review by the City. The following tasks are anticipated: <br />1. Address City comments on 100% submittal of the plans, contract documents and technical <br />specifications <br />2. Revise plans, contract documents and technical specifications for electrical service to <br />proposed street lights <br />3. Submit 3 sets of PSE for Final Review by City <br />4. Address City comments on Final PSE <br />5. Submit Final Signed Mylars and Contract Documents <br />6. Assist City's CEQA Consultant <br />Task 2 — Bidding Phase Services <br />Psomas will provide assistance during the bidding phase including: <br />1. Response to bidder questions <br />2.
