Clean the solar panels in accordance to the manufacturer's recommendation. <br />This is required to be done once every 6 months. <br />Contractor shall clean Video Detection camera lens once a year <br />• Maintenance Record <br />The Contractor shall maintain a record log in each controller cabinet showing <br />the date and time of any service. It shall consist of: <br />a, Routine Maintenance <br />b. Extraordinary Maintenance <br />All records shall be legibly written or printed, These record logs shall become <br />property of the City. <br />• 11117. Tj hi01 <br />Extraordinary maintenance includes work tasks to install new, replace or repair defective <br />or obsolete equipment and perform modification work not directly covered by routine <br />maintenance. Work shall be performed with prior City approval unless emergency or <br />public safety conditions require immediate response. <br />7. Ememencv Service <br />The Contractor shall provide emergency service to the City twenty-four hours a day, <br />seven days a week upon City's request. Unless stated by the City at the time of request, <br />the contractor will need to ascertain whether request is of an emergency nature requiring <br />immediate response, <br />Failure or malfunction of the traffic signal or interruption of normal operation as to create <br />confusion or public hazard Is considered emergency nature. <br />(a) The contractor shall provide qualified personnel at the location within 34 minutes of <br />receiving emergency request. <br />(b) The Contractor shall immediately troubleshoot and restore the traffic signal to normal <br />operations. If that is not possible due to the extent of the damage, sufficient <br />temporary repairs shall be made to enable the intersection to operate safely. In no <br />event shall the traffic signal be left overnight in dark mode (black out). <br />(c) For intersections with power outages, The Contractor shall use the following <br />procedure: <br />(I) Setup temporary stop signs at all approach upon arrival at the site. <br />(ii) Turn off the traffic signal controller and place cabinet control to flashing <br />operation. <br />(Iii) Once the power is restored, remove all stop signs and return the traffic signal to <br />normal operation. <br />8. Compensation For Routine And Extraordinary Maintenance <br />(a) Routine Maintenance: <br />Compensation for routine maintenance of traffic signal system shall be per <br />contracted unit price. Said compensation shall Include all labor, material, equipment <br />and overhead/profits. <br />(b) Extraordinary Maintenance: <br />
