Discussion of Housing <br />Development Cap <br />Maximum development <br />• <br />potential is 1,726 –4,623 <br />housing units and 1,968,000 <br />non-residential square feet. <br />Housing Element requires that <br />• <br />enough land be zoned to <br />provide for residential <br />development to meet <br />Residential Housing Needs <br />Allocation (RHNA) –405 units. <br />Parcels identified in the <br />• <br />Corridor district (see Figure 7- <br />2) can satisfy this requirement. <br />North Transit Node could be <br />• <br />capped for residential <br />development without affecting <br />the City’s RHNA obligation. <br />14 <br />
