Traffic control will be <br />provided per Work Area Traffre Control Ffandbook whan necessary. <br />Once the location is deemed safe, the manhole lid is removed. The appropriate cleanirig <br />nozzle for the task Is chosen and attached to the Vector hose. The operator starts on the <br />downstream manhole and runs the nozzle to the upstream manhole; to hyd(a-flush the line <br />as the hose is putied hack, Whan heavy debris IS eneour lered, a vacuum process is also <br />applied to the line. Houston and Harris operators have utilized the vacuum process, along <br />with the hydro -flushing to provide the most effective conauination of resources for success <br />in Heavy debris. <br />After the hydro•ftushincg process is complete, the oporMoc roptaces tale manhole cover back <br />an the manhole and safely moves to the next location. Documentation is vaiictpted by the <br />operator recording all the required information on the tablet PC with';llnFraMAP sofkwara <br />supplied by the City. " <br />Houston and Harris personnel possess experience and have demonstrated praflciency in <br />the InfraMAP software.
